Mr. William Chan
Mr. William Chan is Founder and CEO of Stamford Privee (S) Pte Ltd, a multi- family office. After spending 9 years in one of the largest Swiss banks in the initial part of his career; William spent 3 years with one of the largest independent Trust companies in Asia. William holds the Chartered Asset Manager, Chartered Risk Manager and Master Financial Professional designations from American Academy of Financial Management and ison the Board of Advisors of AAFM (http://www.aafm.us/globalboard.html). William is also a qualified Associate Financial Consultant (AFC), a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) candidate, and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF). He is also curriculum consultant to the Singapore Polytechnic on their Financial Markets modules, and speaks regularly in many other financial seminars in the region.
Mr. Stan Miller
Stan Miller a principal in ILP+ McChain Miller Nissman, PLLC, a law firm with offices in Little Rock, Arkansas and St. Croix, USVI. He is a founder and principal of WealthCounsel, LLC, a leading provider of education and document drafting software to attorneys nationwide. He is also a founder and principal of WealthCounsel Advisors Forum, LLC, a national membership organization created for the purpose of improving the quality of interdisciplinary planning between attorneys, financial advisors, and CPA's.
Mr. Miller advises clients with respect to a wide range of issues relating to wills and trusts, estate planning, asset protection, trust administration, corporate and partnership matters, charitable giving, private foundations, supporting organizations, life insurance and taxation. In addition, Mr. Miller counsels clients on matters relating to family owned businesses, including exit and succession planning, governance and control, and the significance of these issues to family relationships.
Mr. Miller has served as a contributing editor to the Journal of Practical Estate Planning, a CCH publication and authored numerous articles published in that publication, including: "Most Recent Tax Court Cases Provide Roadmap for Designing FLP/FLLC Plans That Work (August-September 2008), any many others.
Mr. Miller served as a Special Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court and as a member of the Arkansas Commemorative Commission which is the governing body for Arkansas' first state capitol and the chief administrative authority for the state's historic preservation program. He has also previously served as an elected member of the Board of Directors of the City of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and as a member of the Board of Directors of St. Joseph's Regional Health Center, an affiliate hospital of the Sisters of Mercy Health System, St. Louis. Mr. Miller also served as an associate editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law, and, prior to law school, was the president of the student body at Arkansas Polytechnic University.
Mr. Khudabuksh K. Walji
Khudabuksh K. Walji has over 25 years of international experience in law, business, investments, governmental affairs and wealth preservation. As an International Legal & Entrepreneurial Advisor, he specializes in advising family business enterprises globally and has a proven track record of resolving multi-faceted and multi-jurisdictional complex matters. As an organizational strategist, Mr. Walji has advanced results-oriented approaches for business planning and enterprise growth through organic expansion, new start-ups, mergers & acquisitions, private equity investments and public-private initiatives.
Additionally, he is well-versed in developing strategies for family legacy succession planning, including asset protection, tax, insurance, estate, probate and philanthropy matters through structuring of trusts and legal entities in domestic and international jurisdictions. His diverse clientele is based in North America, Europe, the Middle East, South, Central & Far East Asia and Eastern Africa. Currently, Khudabuksh is a Ph.D. Candidate in International Relations at the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations in Switzerland (Class of 2013 - GPA 3.5) focusing on global impact investments and sustainable development.
Mr. Ataru Onuma
Ataru joins us with a wealth of experience in fund management and product structuring. Ataru was founding member of Japan base private equity fund management company, Ant Capital Partners, which had US$1.4 bln AUM. He was also a former VP of Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he was structured products, and MBS trader and product manager for 8 years. Ataru graduated with a B.S. in Business Administrative Studies and Minor in Computer Science and lives in Singapore with his wife and son.
Mr. Jung Kim
Jung Kim joins us as part of the Cleantech/ Renewable energy efforts. He has advised investments in several major sectors including clean technology, media, IT, and healthcare. Jung started career at Tokyo/Toronto offices of McKinsey & Company as management consultant. Subsequently he served as Business Development Manager at Michelin Asia-Pacific, in charge of strategic alliance and M&A for North Asian markets. Jung has a B.A. in Government from Harvard University and an MBA from INSEAD.
